Welcome to the Holi Utrala Community website (holiutrala.in). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

1. Purpose of the Platform

This website is a community-driven advocacy tool designed to demand the completion of the Jalsu Pass road connecting Holi and Utrala in Himachal Pradesh. We are an independent movement and are not affiliated with, nor do we represent, any official government entity (such as HP PWD or MoRTH).

2. User Conduct & Content Uploads

When you interact with the interactive features of the site (Community Wall, Petition Form, Voices of the Valley), you agree to the following rules:

• Authenticity: You will not submit false information, impersonate another individual, or submit automated "spam" petitions.
• Appropriate Content: Images uploaded to the Community Wall must be relevant to the road conditions, the community, or the advocacy efforts. Do not upload explicit, violent, or copyrighted material you do not own.
• Technical Limits: Image uploads are strictly limited to a maximum file size of 8 MB. Files exceeding this limit will be rejected by the client-side system.

3. License to User-Generated Content

By uploading photos or submitting opinions to the website, you retain your ownership rights. However, you grant the Holi Utrala Community a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, distribute, and reproduce your submitted content across the platform and affiliated social media channels for advocacy purposes.

4. Third-Party Links and Media

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by us (e.g., The Tribune India news articles, Facebook Video embeds). We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible for any damage or loss caused by your use of these external resources.

5. Platform Integrity & Security

You are prohibited from attempting to bypass the domain lock security guard, attempting to reverse-engineer the Supabase API endpoints, or using the Formspree routing mechanism to send unauthorized communications. Violations will result in your IP being blocked from the platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

The information on this website (including weather metrics, distances, and financial loss estimates) is provided for advocacy and general information purposes. In no event shall the Holi Utrala Community, its creators, or volunteers be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or reliance on its content.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Himachal Pradesh, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
