As a grassroots advocacy platform demanding the completion of the 71km Jalsu Pass road, transparency is our core value. - Petition Data (Action Hub): When you sign the petition, we collect your Full Name, Location (Village/Town), personal message, and optionally, your Phone Number.
- Community Wall Uploads: When you post a ground report, we collect your submitted Name, Situation Update/Comment, and the Image (Evidence Photo) you upload (up to 8MB in size).
- Opinions Feed: Submissions to the "Voices of the Valley" feed collect your Name and Comment.
2. How We Use and Route Your Data
Because this platform functions as a Live Advocacy Routing tool, the data you submit is actively used for political pressure:
- Direct Government Dispatch: Petition data is packaged into an official grievance payload and securely routed via Formspree directly to the inboxes of the HP PWD Minister, Union MoRTH Secretary, and Local Vidhan Sabha MLAs.
- Public Display: Photos, names, and comments uploaded to the Community Wall and Voices of the Valley sections are stored in our Supabase database and displayed publicly on the website for everyone to see.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We utilize specialized third-party infrastructure to maintain this platform. These services may collect data (such as IP addresses) as part of their standard operational protocols:
- Supabase: Used for real-time database management and photo storage (for the Community Wall).
- Formspree: Used for routing petition submissions directly to government email addresses.
- Facebook (Meta): Video plugins are embedded to showcase creator ground reports. Facebook may track your interaction with these videos.
- Open-Meteo & CARTO/Leaflet: Used to fetch live weather conditions for the Jalsu Pass and display the 350km vs 71km map visualization.
- Google Translate: Embedded for English/Hindi localization.
4. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. We have implemented client-side Domain Lock security to prevent unauthorized cloning or hijacking of the platform. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Do not submit highly sensitive personal information (such as national ID numbers or financial data) through our petition or community forms.
